Prohibited Businesses

To maintain compliance and uphold ethical standards, REDFi does not support services for certain business activities. If your business or organization is involved in any of the following activities, you are prohibited from using REDFi's services.


1. Illegal Products and Services

  • Sale of illegal drugs, substances designed to mimic illegal drugs, or equipment for making or using drugs.
  • Fake references or ID-providing services.
  • Telecommunications manipulation equipment, such as jamming devices.
  • Businesses or organizations that:
    • Engage in, encourage, promote, or celebrate unlawful violence or physical harm to persons or property.
    • Promote violence against any group based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or any immutable characteristic.
  • Products or services that violate laws in jurisdictions where your business operates or targets.

2. Unlicensed Products and Services

  • Unlicensed money transmission or digital asset exchange.
  • Cryptocurrency mixing, tumbling, or anonymizing services (e.g., "crypto tumblers").

3. Products and Services That Infringe Intellectual Property Rights

  • Sale or distribution of music, movies, software, or other licensed materials without authorization.
  • Counterfeit goods or illegally imported/exported products.
  • Unauthorized sale of brand-name or designer products or services.
  • Products or services infringing trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights.

4. Products and Services That Are Unfair, Predatory, or Deceptive

  • Pyramid schemes or "get rich quick" schemes that mislead consumers or promise unrealistic rewards.
  • Businesses using deceptive testimonials, high-pressure upselling, or fake claims.
  • Reselling government offerings without authorization or added value.
  • Negative response marketing, telemarketing, or predatory mortgage, lending, or credit services.
  • Remote technical support scams, essay mills, chain letters, and door-to-door sales without proper authorization.

5. Adult Content and Services

  • Pornographic content, including literature, imagery, or other media depicting nudity or explicit sexual acts.
  • Adult services such as prostitution, escorts, sexual massages, and live chat features.
  • Gentlemen's clubs, topless bars, and strip clubs.
  • Online dating services with exploitative practices.

6. Certain Legal Services

  • Law firms collecting funds for non-legal service purposes.
  • Bankruptcy attorneys.
  • Bail bond services.

7. Firearms, Explosives, Precious and Dangerous Materials

  • Sale of guns, gunpowders, ammunition, weapons, fireworks, or explosives.
  • Peptides, research chemicals, and toxic, flammable, or radioactive materials.
  • Precious metals without proper licensing.

8. Gambling and Cash-Intensive Businesses

  • Games of chance, internet gambling, sweepstakes, or contests with monetary or material prizes.
  • Fantasy sports leagues offering monetary or material prizes.
  • Lotteries, bidding fee auctions, or other unregulated cash-intensive businesses.

9. Marijuana-Related Businesses

  • Cannabis products, dispensaries, or related businesses, regardless of local legality.

This list is representative but not exhaustive. REDFi reserves the right to prohibit services to any business deemed to violate our terms or compromise our ethical standards.
