Questions from UK businesses
Is REDFi available to UK businesses?
Yes. The United Kingdom is one of 80 supported countries, and UK-registered companies can apply for a business account. Available rails vary by country; see the countries page for current details.
Do we need a US company or US residency?
No. Registered companies outside the United States can apply, subject to business verification (KYB) and partner approval.
How do our US clients pay us?
By domestic US wire (Fedwire) to the US account details in your company's name. Incoming dollars are wire only, so ask clients and platforms to send a wire.
Can we pay out in pounds?
Yes. You can pay out in GBP to UK bank accounts over Faster Payments, and in EUR, BRL, MXN and COP on their local rails.
Can we receive pounds into REDFi?
Not today. REDFi does not take incoming GBP payments. You receive US dollars by wire, or USDC and USDT on supported networks, and pay out in pounds.
Is REDFi a bank?
No. REDFi is a financial technology platform. Fiat settlement and digital asset services are provided by regulated financial institution partners.
What does it cost?
Fees are shown in your dashboard before you confirm each transaction.
Is this only for businesses?
